The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the results of the Indian Economic Service (IES) / Indian Statistical Service (ISS) Examination, 2023. The written examination was conducted from 23rd to 25th June, 2023, followed by interviews for the Personality Test from 18th to 21st December, 2023.
The lists, in order of merit, of the candidates recommended for appointment to the posts in the Indian Economic Service and Indian Statistical Service are as follows:

Note: Due to non-availability of a PwBD-4 & 5 candidate, one vacancy of General category in the Indian Statistical Service has been kept vacant.
Provisional Results: The results of certain candidates are provisional. Roll numbers for the provisional candidates are listed in the press note.
Sealed Cover Results: In the case of the ISS Examination, 2023, the results of three candidates have been kept in a sealed cover: a. One candidate’s result is subject to the outcome of a pending court case (OA No. 4161/2023 before Hon’ble CAT Principal Bench, New Delhi). b. One candidate’s result is subject to the outcome of a pending court case (OA No. 4113/2023 before Hon’ble CAT Principal Bench, New Delhi). c. One candidate’s result is subject to the outcome of a pending court case (OA No. 4174/2023 before Hon’ble CAT Principal Bench, New Delhi).
Verification of Documents: The offer of appointment to provisional candidates will not be issued until the Commission verifies the original documents awaited from such candidates and clarifies the provisional status. Provisionality remains valid for three months from the date of the final result.
Facilitation Counter and Contact Information: UPSC has a ‘Facilitation Counter’ near the Examination Hall in its campus, providing information and clarification regarding the examination/recruitment on working days between 10.00 hrs. to 17.00 hrs. Candidates can also inquire over telephone nos. 011-23385271 / 23381125. The result will be available on the UPSC website www.upsc.gov.in, and marks of the candidates will be made available on the website within fifteen days from the date of publication of the result.
